Frontier E&C Completes Fire Fighting System at Vietnam’s Largest LNG Terminal in Ba Ria–Vung Tau

In February 2023, Frontier E&C successfully delivered the Fire Fighting System for Vietnam’s largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Thi Vai Terminal, located in Ba Ria–Vung Tau province. The system passed rigorous inspection and was officially accepted by the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department, enabling the terminal to receive its full operational license.

Key Project Highlights

  • Project Location: LNG Thi Vai Terminal, Ba Ria–Vung Tau, Vietnam
  • System Scope: Design, supply, and installation of a complete Fire Fighting System and steel structures for the entire plant
  • Terminal Capacity: 180,000 cubic meters of LNG storage; throughput of approximately 1 million tons per year
  • Future Expansion (Phase Two): near completion, will add 1.4 billion m³ LNG yearly for Nhon Trach 3 & 4 power plants.
